General Capabilities
AV Systems provides a wide range of audio and video recording, editing,
production, media transfer and duplication services. Digital editing and
production services can produce finished products on S-VHS, DAT, CD or
DVD media in addition to several popular computer video and multimedia
file types.
Using our experience with production of computer based multimedia content,
AVS can assist clients in the planning, development and production of
video and computer based presentations for use in sales presentations,
classroom training, distance learning, museum exhibits, kiosks and hotel
in-house TV video distribution systems.
Audio and Video Recording of Meetings
Your meeting or event can be captured using still and/or video digital
cameras, direct from source to digital storage and to digital editing
equipment. Output of the final audio and video content can be to tape,
CD or DVD media. The media may be reproduced and given to meeting attendees
as a gift or saved for company archival purposes.
Computer Presentations
AVS technicians can assist in the development of computer based presentations
using Microsoft PowerPoint software with the use of graphics, special
effects and embedded video clips. Customers can use the facilities of
AV Systems fully equipped conference room to test and refine the presentation.
Finished presentations can be placed on FD, CD, DVD, Zip disk, USB Flash
drive or compact flash card.
Museum Exhibits
Audio, video and computer based museum exhibits add to the interactivity
of the exhibit and appeal to the communications preferences of younger
audiences. Video can be combined with background or research data, placed
on a dedicated server and delivered to standard or touch screen displays
by a local area network. Museum exhibits have been developed and installed
by AV Systems that incorporate laser disk, Video CD, DVD and computer
hard drive players in a variety of customized display and control configurations.
Information Kiosks
An extension of the equipment and methods used in museum exhibits can
be applied to build free standing information kiosks for installation
in high traffic locations such as museums, theaters, office buildings
and hotel lobbies. When connected to a network the kiosks can easily be
updated to contain the most current information. User input can be by
touch screen, track ball or keyboard depending upon the application and
the environment.
Hotel In-House TV Video Channels
AVS has produced and installed a number of laser disk and DVD based video
programs in hotels that present promotional and safety messages to guest
rooms over the in-house cable TV system. Once the video program is complete,
the video player is connected to the TV system on an assigned channel.
The TV channel may be an unused one or an existing channel can be removed
and replaced with the video program.
